Question by Porkchoppie: Where do i get this codec from?
I have recorded videos on my sony Hybrid camcorder and cannot view them anywhere on my computer. i need codecs but don’t know where to get them from. and i can’t find the sony editing software on the net, i have the disc but it’s been majorly scratched during a hold movewhen i try to play the file i get this errorYou’ve encountered error message C00D10D1 while using Windows Media Player. Go and download VLC, it has all the necessary codecs built into it and plays everything.
