Question by cookie_monster: When I try to publish a Windows Movie Maker movie, there is a green line. I have a Media Player Codec Pack…?
When I try to publish a Windows Movie Maker movie, there is a compact green line on the bottom half of all of my video files, I am running Vista.I had to get a Media Player Codec Pack because the video files originally are all MOV files, and Windows Movie Maker wouldn’t register them… I have attempting googling the answer and have had NO luck… largely commonly it is suggested to go into Xvid and make changes to the codec, but this hasn’t worked (or we are doing it incorrectly because we have a different codec?? :S …PLEASE HELP!!!! Please please PLEASE! I have put alot of time and effort into this movie and don’t want to only be able to watch it on my PC screen!!!

Movie Maker is not compatible with QuickTime .mov files. You have to convert the .mov files to a format that can be used in Windows Movie Maker.WMM accepts the following movie files : .asf, .avi, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, .wmvUse any one of this to convert
