Question by ♣The_Wanted♥: does anyone know where to get MPEG-2 Codec for Roxio Creator 9., when you are making a DVD?
I have Roxio Creator 9. and when ever i try creating a DVD, it says, MPEG-2 Codec Required, and i cant find anywhere on the internet to download it from, if anyone knows plz tell?

thats weird really sounds like a trial version of the software to me … ive never had to install a mpeg2 codec … maybe try downloading ffdshow and see if that does it if not get a full version of one of the apps like winavi ..

Chances are you haven’t registered the codec yet.
Try launching cineplayer in the Creator or playing a DVD movie. Make sure you are connected to the interweb. You’ll then get a window requesting registration etc. Follow the directions.
