Question by Anastasia K: My Windows Movie Maker keeps coming up with this message. What codec do I need?
The file C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\Alexandra’s stuff\Valentine1.avi cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again.I tried to download the K-Lite Codec pack, but it didn’t want to download properly for some reason. So I couldn’t use that one.Does anyone know how I tin fix this problem? When I was using the nbxsoft converter there were no problems, but I finished my trial, so I can’t use it unless I know the register code. Anyone know what that code is?I have now downloaded the K-Lite Codec Pack, and the message is quietening coming up. Is there anything in particular I have to do to make it work?

I’d try to get again to get a good copy of the K-lite codec pack. It will solve your problem. http://www.codeccodecs.com/codec-pack-klite.html
