Alot of the time when i download videos from limewire or bitlord the picture doesnt work and it says error downloading codec, is there anyway that i tin fix this so i tin see the picture?

Figure exposed the codec required from the video before you open it with something like GSpot (see videohelp.com/tools) then download the proper codec that’ll play it. Don’t play with codec packs, as they often install duplicate codecs which you must then mess with manually to fix up, and you’d never be sure if there’s going to be problems later.

Switch between Real Player and Windows Media Player to see if either one grabs the correct codec. If not, right click on the file and hit “Properties”. Most of the time it will list the codec. Just run a search for it and download it. Try “G Spot”, “K-lite Mega Codec” or “Divx.com” to identify it if the “Properties” method doesn’t list the codec.
Download k-lite mega codec. Do a custom install and install all the codecs you can (except the one’s it tells you not to later in the install).
That will give you all the codecs you need.

Alot of the videos you are getting from limewire are using a .avi codec… download the DivX codec from their site below
