If you need to play a video that has been created with the Alaris Web Camera software or any other software that uses the VGPixel codec, this is the answer. Firstly uncompress the files from “Alaris.zip” archive, right-click on the “alaris.inf” file and select Install.

You may encounter a prompt saying: “The software you are installing for this hardware… has not passed Windows Logo testing…”; click on the Continue Anyway button.
