The Audacity Audio Editor is one of the best audio editors on the internet hands down! This editor allows oyu to record and edit WAV, AIFF, Ogg Vorbis, and MP3 files and more. Personally one of my favourite audio editors.

One of the best qualities of the Audacity audio editor is that it allows you to loop sound clips but its best feature is its ability to clean the audio much like Adobe Soundbooth except much easier than Adobe and of course without the cost. Just simply great audio editor!
