Question by Adelaid: Adobe Premiere Pro Mp4 Help!?
Ok, so the story is… I’ve got Adobe Premiere Pro CS4.. Also a Samsung U10 Cam.The Cam uses H.164 – or MP4 files. My Adobe Premiere Pro is supposed to edit with that file, but when I import it into Adobe Premiere Pro, it comes up as an audio file, no picture, just sound.I’ve got like 4 different types of video converters, i’ve converted them.. and just a picture with sound, or REALLLLLLY lagged and unsynced. I’m but really tired of not being able to edit any of my files.. I have also tried this with Windows Movie Maker, Camtasia Studio.. Still the same problem. I’ve also put FFDShow on and it still doesn’t work.I can’t afford to buy a Mac or new software. Any help..I’ve been googling for about 4 months and nothing helps..Sorry it’s been so long, but I really hope someone tin help me.

The first thing you should always try is the software that comes with the camera. There could be some proprietary format issue going on there. Once you get the video captured to your computer, then bring it in to Premiere. If you are trying to capture from within Premiere, is the camera actually being recognized?
